
When we practice breath work, the mind becomes more calm as the nervous system is soothed, we inhabit our bodies, and we become more present. It is a highly effective coping strategy (that costs nothing but time and attention!)
Breath work alone may not be sufficient to manage a mental health condition, but these practices have been shown to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and ADHD, making them incredibly worthwhile.
