“Uh…What do flowers have to do with movement?” you ask. Good question.
At Alsana, we help clients reassess their relationships with, motivations for, and attitudes towards movement and exercise so they can re-approach them safely after treatment. A big part of this is helping clients understand that traditional “workouts” are not mandatory for healthy living and that there are many nourishing ways to enjoy movement as part of a holistic self-care and recovery maintenance plan.
So, whether it’s visiting a flower farm with friends, walking your dog, doing yard work, or spending time in nature with loved ones, there are endless ways to move that are not motivated by body dissatisfaction or the desire to look a certain way. Our goal is to help each client hone the ability to discover and connect with nourishing movement modalities in ways that support their unique recovery journey.
