For this client creation, a St. Louis RTC client chose breakfast as the meal to prepare for the house. They prepared fluffy pancakes 🥞, scrambled eggs 🍳, hash browns 🥔, and fruit, then enjoyed it together outside. Client Creations are nutrition and cooking exposures that help reinforce clients’ meal-planning and culinary skills while exploring food flexibility and creativity.The client works with an Alsana chef and dietitian to plan and prepare a meal of their choosing, which they will share and enjoy with their peers. This process gives clients opportunities to practice making grocer/ingredient lists, experiment with substitutions, brainstorm creative ways to stay within budget, and grow their overall sense of confidence and competence in the kitchen.
